Why Vietnam
Vietnam is long. North to south is a two-hour flight, and the country changes completely along the way: cool mountains and French colonial streets in the north, imperial history and lantern-lit old towns in the centre, delta heat and relentless energy in the south. Which end you start from changes the whole feel of the trip.
