Why Europe
Everyone goes to Europe. Very few people go well. The difference is rarely the list of cities, it's the order you see them in, the hour you show up, and whether you booked the train or the transfer. Six years of running groups through Switzerland, France, Italy and Spain taught me exactly where the day falls apart, and exactly where it's worth slowing down.

Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, and the valley walks most itineraries skip in favour of another cable car.
- Days 7 – 9
Paris, properly
Early entries, one long walk from Île de la Cité to Saint-Germain, and dinner where the menu isn't in four languages.
- Days 10 – 13
Italy, at whatever speed suits you
Rome and Florence for the classics, or the Amalfi Coast if this is the trip you want to remember for the food.
